I live for a bold print.

 

 

Now I must admit while I'm not a huge floral fan, I love a great graphic print.  I look for something geometric, involving repetition, and a limited color palette.  This Milly dress certainly fit all of my criteria.

my cheap thrill - jersey skirt edition

 

With spring-like temperatures here in the south, (yesterday was 70 degrees!) my mind is dreaming of sleeveless tops, sandals, and skirts.  But with my wallet glued shut at the moment all I can do is dream.

I may have used the I'm going to the beach excuse to pick up a couple of resort pieces recently.  I knew that DFV scarf would be the perfect buy and turns out this Clu dress was as well.

I'm so sad I have to put this back into my closet for the next couple months... hurry up spring!

When most people think Vera Wang they immediately think bridal, but it should be noted she has done so much more.  She has her own fragrance, jewelry, eyewear, shoe, and houseware collections.  Even a diffusion line at Kohls.  On top of all that she manages to look amazing in a swimsuit at 62.  Don't you just hate her?

The holidays are always a crazy time, so my fiancé and I couldn't wait to get away after New Years.  I don't know if I was more excited for the beach or getting to wear my new resort wear purchases.

Especially this massive Diane von Furstenberg scarf...

 

 

 

 Did I mention it has pom-poms?!?  Who doesn't love pom-poms?

 Best of all, this scarf can be worn in so many ways.  I couldn't wait to go to the pool with it styled as a sarong.

Sooooo, when my FMiL (future mother-in-law) told me she had a vintage fur that I might like I couldn't wait to try it on.  She failed to mention it was Christian Dior...and from 70's.
